Resident Assistants are people too!

For the past week, I have been in Resident Assistant training at MTSU. It's probably been the longest week of my life, or so it seemed. I think I've heard about "getting to know" your residents and "role-modeling" everyday. I think they're trying to tell us something.

We watched a rather graphic video on bloodbourne pathogens today, describing in detail what we should do if there was a "spill" of sorts. Oh, and it's 137 degrees outside and they have us doing a team building exercises in the sun while the AC's stand in the shade. Other than all of that, it's really has been an interesting week. Yesterday, learned about everybody's different personality's and that everyone thinks differently than everyone else. Lunch is free....so there's a plus. And, everyone that's in Womack is cool. All-in-all it's been a cool experience and I've gotten to know a lot of different people. Now, let's see how the next week of training goes...
